  Welcome to the Windsome Bed & Breakfast. Our early 1900s traditional clapboard home offers a serene atmosphere in a post-Victorian renovation completed in 1997. Meticulously detailed and open year round, our spacious and comfortable smoke-free accommodations include a private entrance, off street parking, private bath, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, air conditioning, cable TV/VCR and guest parlor with working fireplace. Choose among our two rooms, Autumn and December. Traveling with another couple, you'll have your own private suite with private entrance to come and go as you please! Delight in our homemade continental ‘plus’ style breakfast with baked goods, eggs, fresh brewed coffee, tea and juices. Centrally located in historic Newport, we are less than a mile from Bellevue Avenue’s famed mansions, downtown waterfront shops, restaurants, and the ocean beach. • The Autumn Room

  The Autumn Room features a queen size cherry bed, high ceilings, southern facing windows, and its own private bathroom with a standard tub and shower. In all rooms throughout our bed & breakfast, you can admire the beauty and detail of our red oak hardwood floors, which have been meticulously installed in various designs throughout. You will also find custom window and door trim, scavo and alabaster lighting, and majestic ‘splayed’ (cathedral) ceilings with Casblanca fan and lights. View your favorite show or tape on the TV/VCR provided in this lovely cherry armoire as you relax in the comfort of your ornate queen size cherry bed. You can even enjoy your homemade continental ‘plus’ style breakfast in the comfort of your own room. No detail was spared even in our private bathroom accommodations.
